I purchased this toy for my mother who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Her live-in caregiver has a miniature red dachshund, Mimi, who my mother adores. When the caregiver is on holiday, she takes Mimi with her and my mother misses her. So, now Mimi has a stand-in for just those occasions.
The toy dog is so life-like that the real Mimi plays with her as if she were a real dog!

This is the most accurate model of a small Dachshund available.
It is a little pricey but very good quality. My live minature Dachshund still goes over for a sniff test every day.

Got one Johann plush toy for each child when our Dachshund passed away. They were so lifelike and soft. The kids love them and so do the parents.

We got this for my nephew. He loves Humley on curious george along with books. You would have thought that he received a real dog. He was simpley thrilled.
