I love buying things online, but sometimes it bites you back. The finish on this jewelry box is pretty low quality. I suppose you get what you pay for, and for something made in China its not bad. The two tone finish look you see in the picture is painted on, because staining to achieve that effect would take lots of time and expertise. My wife digs it and nothing has fallen off so beyond the finish it is everything I was expecting.

This was a gift for my wife for Christmas and she simply adores her new jewelry box. It has all of the compartments that she wanted for her earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. She would have still loved it if that was all it had, but the lock and key and the music that it plays were icing on the cake! The color is very warm, a perfect match for our bedroom furniture, but it could be tough to match. The price was great! All-in-all a great purchase!

This is very nice, looks and feels very good quality, smooth, nice color, etc.
I do have one complaint, however, which explains 4-stars instead of 5: the key only locks the top compartment & drawer, rather than all the drawers and sides. It was a little disappointing, I wanted the entire thing locked... Otherwise it is really nice.

It's a very nice (cheap) jewelry box that has much potential and space. The necklace and ring holders are very handy along with the mirror.
Cons, the hinges on the mirror are very cheap and have already begun to warp and bend so much to the point where the necklace doors hit the bottom of the mirror when they are opened. We have to now have the box lean up against a wall to keep the mirror from going too far up/back.

I liked this a lot. It is very nice looking. The only downfalls are the music player doesnt always work and the necklace hooks are not long enough to hold necklaces, only bracelts.
