5A cute little snail  Nov 09, 2008
By L. Cabrera
I got this toy for my young daughter. She just turned 6 months and doesn't have the manual dexterity to push the buttons yet, but she enjoys it when we hold her on our lap and help her push them.

The toy has 2 settings:
- one where each button plays a single note.
- one where each button makes the snail play a song.

Pressing the antennae of the snail changes between these 2 modes. When not in use, the snail can be rolled up and placed on a shelf or in a group of other stuffed animals. A very cute toy and even better that it's educational/musical.

2A little hard to use  Feb 27, 2011
By Valerie J. Moyer "LillyKitty"
I bought this for my 6 month old daughter and she cannot use the toy yet. There are little tiny buttons underneath the material that you actually have to find and press. I have a feeling she won't be able to do this for a while yet. Maybe better for a child 1 and over. It is cute though, but she prefers other musical toys that we have. It definitely is not one of her favorites.

4Great toy for crib or tummy time!  Apr 20, 2010
By Stacy
My son loves this toy. It has two modes. Single notes or a song for each note pressed. You switch the modes on one of the antennas. Sound and volume is great and I have not changed the batteries once yet in the past year. The only thing wrong is the velcro part to roll it up. The hem gets undone sooner or later. So I dont roll it up. But other than that it is a great toy.
