Great box once the smell clears Apr 26, 2011

I bought this jewelry box for my wife. It was the one she'd chosen, and we waited a long time to purchase it, since it was on back-order from the manufacturer for months. When the box arrived it was very nice. The fit was very good and other than a slight smudge on the top, the finish was good as well. It also had all the storage space my wife needed. The main problem was the smell. The box had such a strong varnish smell that we had to keep it in the garage for about 3-weeks before she could bring it in to use.

I gave this to my wife to replace several smaller ones.She didn't want a large piece of furniture or hang a amoire on the door or wall. this works great and she can put her stuff in one place now.She loves it and loaded it up Chritmas nite. Also there is no odor at all.
