Lots of work for not much fun Apr 27, 2011

I guess it's my own fault but this isn't the type of wood kit I was looking for. A ton of work and both my Grandkids got bored to death after 15 minutes. Nothing seemed to fit and when they did, fell apart when starting the next step. More of a hobby for adults than kids. I tossed them both out.

A disappointment. The pieces to assemble are to punched out of sheets of wood laminate. They aren't punched through thoroughly, so when you try to push them out and them snap them apart, they split and splinter. When you finally are able to get a piece out intact enough to assemble, the fit with other pieces is poor...at best.
Really a big disappointment. We purchased two of these for our sons for Christmas. They've given up. I tried, and even as an adult, find my patience sorely tried. I think the best place for this item, sadly, may be the recycling bin.
