nice but doesn't have the features I thought it did Dec 18, 2009
By Hello Kitty Ellen I like the look of this jewelry box (black with faux pewter knobs and sueded inserts in a light cream color) but I'm disappointed that only the very top compartment locks. I assumed all of the drawers and the side compartments would be locked. also, the description implies that every drawer is broken down into 4 compartments, but that's not true. only the very top compartment comes with a divider to make 4 small compartments. the rest of the drawers are not divided, which really limits how much jewelry you can put in them without risking everything getting tangled. the very bottom drawer is for rings. I do like the 2 big side compartments for hanging up necklaces.

Beautiful, functional jewelry box! Jan 16, 2012
By M.O. I have been searching for a nice, contemporary jewelry box for a long time, but didn't really want to spend the money. My husband gave this jewelry box to me for Christmas, and I absolutely love it! It's called "java" but looks black and pretty contemporary. It holds all of my rings and bracelets and most of my earrings. I have an additional stand for necklaces, but this one holds 8-16 necklaces. The side panels for necklaces work great. The wood is beautiful, the box is solid. It's pretty large and heavy for a jewelry box, but probably because it's well-made, and it fits nicely on a shelf or dresser. The top of the box opens and has a mirror, ring section, and two square sections. The first drawer has six sections (like for small earrings); second drawer has four sections (larger earrings); third drawer has three sections (large/long earrings or bracelets); fourth drawer has two sections, and last two drawers are not sectioned off, so it can accommodate various sizes/pieces of jewelry. So happy with this jewelry box!

Horrible product! Jul 18, 2011
By Brendan This product is way over priced for the quality you're getting. Yes it is "nice" to look at but once you actually see how bad of quality it is, you will regret wasting your money on it. First off, the front piece of the bottom drawer was off when we received the product, which I do not blame on the handling because of how securely the product was packaged. The packaging is the only thing I give this company credit for. Second, the base of the product is not even so it wobbles around. Third, the drawers hang down when you open them all the way which is poor craftsmanship. Lastly, There are screws missing on one of the hinges. Now that is something not worth a final price of 122 dollars! Also I am not a rich person I am a simple guy so dont judge this review thinking im some rich snobby person!

Beautiful and well-built product! Apr 15, 2011
By Michael Livingston Beautiful looks and excellent craftsmanship! I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Lots of great organized storage and holds a lot of jewelry. The key lock mechanism feels a bit flimsy, but we don't really use that anyway. Overall, a great product that we are quite happy with. Great design and color finish!
