For Mother's Day I was looking for something to get my wife that she didn't have. I noticed that she kept her jewelry close by on the night stand but in several individual boxes, this prompted my search for a jewelry box.
After looking I settle on the Mele brand as it looked made of whole wood and not just a wood finished box. Also the dimensions seemed about right. It was actually bigger than I imagined and it just fit on the night stand. My wife loves it and keeps all of her precious tokens in it. It's also handy for me cause now I can review all the items she has at once and plan for future gifts with proper measurements and without fear of duplicating something or copying something she already has.
The product is made in China but the name Mele is long standing in fine quality. Would recommend this as a gift if your partner doesn't already have such a thing, or a momento for a young person graduating.

I got this item for a Valentines day gift for my wife to be. I received it in a moderate amount of delivery time and kept it in the case until the 14th. I would like to note to anyone searching for a "LOCK" on a jewelry box, this is a FAKE lock. the quality of the case is great, it could have been a bit bigger to fit longer items like necklaces. I bought this over other models because I thought it had a working lock. it does not. it's just for looks so I do feel a bit misled on this. I thought the way this was set up one lock would seal the entire one, but it doesn't. She likes it so much though that she doesn't want me to return it. would be 5 stars if not for the fake lock.
