Mele & Co. "Phoebe" jewelry box has an air of mystery and antiquity about it that is simply irresistible. From its distressed panel detailing to its brass ring drawer pulls and vintage green interior, this jewelry chest has a story to tell. Black painted/antiqued rub-off finish. Upright. Distressed, raised molding detail on drawer fronts. Softly curved sides. Lift lid features mirror, two bracelet hooks, and shirred catch pocket. Top compartment features automatic tray with ring rolls and open section beneath, plus four smaller divided sections. Dual necklace doors with three hooks each. Three open drawers and drop down ring roll compartment. Antiqued brass ring drawer pulls and hardware. Green sueded fabric lining. Footed base. 10 1/8" x 5 1/2" x 13 1/4.

This jewelry box is well made and sturdy. The boxes are easy to access and make organizing very simple. The colors are unique - I love the green lining! The only complaint I have about this box is the bottom drawer. A pair of earrings fell out of place when it was closed and there is no way (that I can see) to remove that drawer to retrieve them. I didn't like those earrings anyway, so it's no big deal, but something to think about when storing your stuff.

This is a beautiful piece. It is large, heavy, sturdy, different so that it stands out to all who see it, and beautiful. I purchased this as a gift, and the recipient absolutely loved it! The wood is a very deep dark brown, deeper than espresso, I'd say a few shades lighter than black, but not too far from it. The green lining pops against the color of the wood. It is gorgeous!

I am very happy with this jewelry box; it's exactly what I was looking for. It is beautifully made and I love the green interior. It was also well packaged for shipping. Not excessive, but packaged so to protect the box. Very nicely made; stylish and classic piece.

I purchased this jewelry box for my daughter. She absolutely loves the color inside and out. The green velour inside is a perfect coordinating color with the distressed black. She discovered a couple things that make it a challenge; (1) the side compartments which have a bottom catch do not hold very long and bulky necklaces too well. The space is quickly taken up by them. (2) if you have big and bulky rings the bottom ring pull-down drawer cannot accommodate them but they can rest in the compartments inside. Other than that, this is truly a beautiful piece of furniture and is lovely to look at.
