This box is perfect for my earrings. I took out some of the slots so I could fit the longer earrings. I was able to put several earrings in each space. My earrings were always all over the place now I have them in this pretty box. I put the box on top of my larger jewelry box. I like to put my earrings on last now . Now I can grab the Mele box and find what I need. Very well made. Arrived earlier than expected and was well packed. I may buy another for my rings. I would highly recommend. I would also buy as a gift.

The box is exactly what I wanted for my earrings. I love that it is double-decker with lots of room so that each pair of earrings has it's own little section. The faux leather is elegant.

I purchased this to replace a wooden chest that I had. I LOVE this box!! It's compact and holds soooo much!
I love it so much I purchased a 2nd one for the 'guest' room to keep my lower end jewelry in... It's a great size, made very well, and holds a lot of items.
I added small foam pieces to some of the top squares so I could push in my studs and get them easily.
This is the best jewelry box I have owned!

A Black Faux Box for the Guys
Unlike many of the feminine boxes with interior colors of light pink or dainty locking straps this Mele box is perfect for men who value more than standard jewelry. The pocket knife from relative or military regalia to usb storage cards can easily be fashioned for placement.
This is made possible by the removable borders that can be simply be removed to cut out to fit in your valued items. Be careful in what you cut of course. I've also managed to partially cut box borders to create spaces in diagonal patterns that do hold fast in place.
The crystal button is small and well made. This stone snap does not look like as if you prefer women's jewelry boxes. The sleek black material is plain, yet attractive and well set. The solid feel of the box also helps a guy feel he didn't just buy a flimsy box made somewhere in Eurasia.
The only drawback would be the pouch instead of leather straps for tie clips. The pouch works just fine regardless. If the frilly look bothers a man that much I'd say someone is trying too hard to look tough.
