This jewelry box (and near as I can tell the others made by Mele) is very nice. It is made of actual wood (not just veneers). My necklaces can hang without getting tangled and the design is functional as well as beautiful. Very happy with this purchase.

Sometimes gifts are hard to think of. This was a hit. My wife spent a few hours loading it up with her spread out collection of Jewelry and looked at it and when my granddaughter came over, she immediately gravitated to the box.

I bought this for my fiancee's birthday. She likes it alot. It is well built- all real wood- not veneer crap. It has tons of hooks to hold necklaces, little drawers for jewelry, and slots to hold rings. It even has engrained glass that adds to its decor. Overall a great product!
