I purchased this Mele & Co jewelry box for my six-year-old granddaughter in another
state. It is plastic, but looks nice and is well made, with a felt liner. The
ballerina dances to Swan Lake, very clear sound.
My granddaughter LOVES this music box, and I bought her a little gold cross necklace to store inside it. She felt extra special getting "real gold" and I think she will be gentle in handling the jewelry box. I thought the box was small,
but it is great for any girl under 8 years old. Am pleased with the purchase.

My boys put the money together to buy this for their little sister for x-mas. Her necklaces kept falling in the cap and the lid will get stuck and will not close. One of her necklace broke when trying to get it unstuck. It is ok for her to play with it but it is not good for jewelries.
